I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) with over 36 years of experience. My primary modalities of treatment are Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Oriented Therapy. I have dual professions. Along with my Clinical Social Work background, I am a Licensed Ordained Minister with a MDIV. However, I don't impose my value system on my clients. Among the issues treated include depression, anxiety, stress related issues, relationship issues, social skills, self-esteem, veteran and military issues, trauma, aging, life developmental issues, spiritual issues, life transitional changes and many more. I have worked in both out-patient and residential treatment settings.

My primary mode of counseling is Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Client-centered therapy. Because of my dual professions, I am equipped to provide faith-based counseling to those client who are interested in receiving faith-based counseling. I don't impose my values or believes on any clients served. I am compassionate and considerate regarding the needs of all clients. I am goal-oriented and inclusive of clients in the development of goals. I believe that the answers to many problems lie with clients, and I serve as a facilitator and change agent to help them discover the solutions to their own problems.

I focus on the strengths that clients bring to the table and thrive on helping them build on their strengths and learn how to maximize their potential. I take delight in helping clients help themselves.
