About me

I am MH counselor/therapist with a counseling style that is warm, empathetic, integrative, pragmatic, and person-centered. I believe that a therapeutic relationship should be a collaborative one in which you and I work together to discover creative strategies, solutions, and, at times, even humorous insights to help you practice new ways to thrive. I have experience counseling adult individuals on family/relationship issues, and matters coping with grief, trauma, addiction, existential concerns, sexuality, and recovery.
My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and client-centered counseling. My work draws its influence from the counseling theories and styles of Carl Rogers, Carl Jung, and Murray Bowen. My goal is to overcome stigmatic labels and empower the client on a path to wellness.
I look forward to working with you!

Mary was helpful to get me through some major stressors in my life. The tools and resources she recommended help me even a year later.

Mary has been a godsend in my life. I’ve always thought of myself as a very emotionally and mentally grounded individual, but life circumstances have shown me otherwise.
Having someone like Mary as a therapist in my life has given me a pillar of calmness in my life and shown me how invaluable therapy can be in a myriad of situations in life.
I now view it as mental hygiene that I have to upkeep just like going to the gym.
Thank you Mary for all that you do!

Mary is a kind, humorous, and thoughtful therapist. She’s the best therapist I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen several. I felt better after the first session and my growth continues. She is top notch!
