Mary Warner, LCPC
About me
I am a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) in Kansas with 18 years of professional counseling experience. My goal is to provide a safe environment where you can better learn to help yourself. I am trained in a variety of areas and work with my clients to create an open and healing environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared confidentially without fear of judgment. During our time together we may focus on stresses and life issues that you want to talk about, for example, anxiety, depression, or grief. You will learn more about how your feelings, thoughts and actions impact your daily life. You will work out problems and find new strength to seek a more fulfilling life one step at a time. Change doesn't happen overnight. Real change takes hard work and courage; it takes perseverance. I am here to support you as you learn more about how to support and love yourself by getting your needs met. Developing new skills can facilitate facing life's challenges and overcoming problems. You deserve to be happy.

I have worked with Dr. Mary Warner at BetterHelp for a couple of months, and I can't express enough how grateful I am for her support. Dr. Warner possesses an exceptional understanding of my needs, creating an environment of trust and comfort from the very beginning.
What I appreciate most about Dr. Warner is her commitment to allowing me to share my thoughts and feelings at my own pace. She has a remarkable ability to create a safe space where I feel genuinely heard and respected. This level of understanding has been crucial in my healing process.
One of the things that truly sets Dr. Warner apart is her dedication to providing valuable resources to enhance our sessions. She's introduced me to resources like podcasts, books, insightful quotes, and empowering mantras that have been invaluable in my journey toward personal growth and mental well-being.
Each week, Dr. Warner and I build upon my progress in previous sessions, working together to reframe my thoughts and develop healthier perspectives. Her expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) has been instrumental in helping me gain a better understanding of my thought patterns and behaviors, and she's equipped me with practical tools to manage them effectively.
I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Mary Warner to anyone seeking compassionate, knowledgeable, and effective support in their mental health journey. Her dedication to my well-being is evident in every session, and I am incredibly thankful for her positive impact on my life.

This is an updated review. I've been working with Mary for about 4 months now. She's been very supportive and motivating for me. She doesn't push me but encourages me to do what I need to do for myself at my own pace. I don't feel pressured, but rather inspired to do the work on myself that I need for self improvement. It's been great, highly recommend.
