About me
Currently accepting residents of the State of Delaware and international clients from countries that do not have legal requirements to be licensed in that country. I cannot accept Canadian clients, sorry.
I am a clinical social worker in Delaware with more than 30 years of professional experience in varied settings with clients of diverse backgrounds, including private practice, community mental health, prison populations, and international social work. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, concerns related to aging, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, & depression. I was an expat myself for 3 years so I am familiar with some of the issues involved in living in another country.
I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I utilize mindfulness and cognitive behavioral-based interventions and incorporate hypnotherapy interventions when appropriate . I believe in a holistic approach to creating change and making improvement in our lives.
Please be aware that I only use messaging as an adjunct in between sessions to communicate. I cannot provide therapy using primarily messaging.
Making the decision to begin therapy and reach out to ask for help can be daunting. Congratulations for taking that step! I look forward to accompanying you on your journey to improved wellness.

I high recommend Marylou as a therapist. She is an active listener, intelligent, knowledgeable, caring, empathetic and supportive person. I am so grateful to have met her and I thank her for all that she has done for me. I went through a narcissistic relationship with someone in the past and was trauma bonded with the experience and she has helped me focus on my self worth and self love. Please give her a chance, she will benefit your mental health and happiness.
