About me

I am a licensed professional counselor who has been working for the past 5 years in addictions and mental health. I have worked with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, relationship issues and more.

I take my approach to counseling from the client's perspective. My approach is client centered, meaning I believe everyone has the ability to help themselves and will do so if given the opportunity. I also use cognitive behavior therapy when clients identify a barrier to their goals. I believe counseling is best begun in the present day-to-day life of the client and assist in helping them be who they want to be.

It is my favorite thing in the world to watch people learn and grow. I believe that everyone is capable of great change and that anyone can live a fulfilling life. I am happy to be a part of the process.

Matt is incredible. He is a great listener and provides well informed, thoughtful feedback. His ability to understand sometimes complex real life situations and provide helpful strategies with which to navigate them emotionally has been key to my self improvement efforts.
