I have tried sessions with many different therapists, at this point in my life. May Kirby was the first, and she set the bar so incredibly high. She is gentle when you need her to be, but isn’t shy at kindly offering advice or suggestions (and lots of books) when the time is right. She’s a great listener, and I generally leave sessions feeling better than when I went in. The best part, though, is her responsiveness. She encouraged me to write daily. I often failed, but when I didn’t, she recognized that and responded to my writing. That made me feel so incredibly heard. Thank you!

May creates a safe space where I feel like I can openly share without the fear of being judged. She also provides positive constructive feedback & coping tools.
