Megan Wilson, LCSW
About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Missouri with five years of experience working with people making change in their life. I have worked with people challenged by depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, and life changing situations. I am LGBTQ+-affirming and strive to provide a welcoming, nonjudgmental space for all. My approach is solution focused, client centered, and strengths based drawing heavily from Cognitive Behavioral Theory.
When working with clients I strive to make the therapy experience genuine, positive, respectful, and safe. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in doing great things and overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started! I am excited to meet you and work together to identify your goals and make plans to achieve them!
