I have had a very good experience with Meghan so far. I think I could do better sometimes with a longer session. I don't always feel like I'm left with more to say in a phone/video session, but sometimes I do. Perhaps I need to find a way to communicate that better and figure out what we should do when I feel like I have more to say.

Written on Jun 08, 2021 after therapy with Meghan for 2 weeks on issues concerning depression, stress, anxiety, grief, and self esteem
I started counseling with Meghan right after ending a toxic relationship. I had a lot of things to work through in order to be able to have relationships with others as well as myself. I have met with a few other counselors in my past, but have never felt like I was progressing in my healing like I have with Meghan.
She was able to help me figure out within myself what was happening, as well as give me the tools I could use when I was not in a session to handle those situations. She also help me establish boundaries, something I had never done before.
Being able to send her a message at any time I felt overwhelmed or stressed was crucial for me. Her response time is amazing. When there were weeks between appointments, I didn’t feel abandoned because I was always encouraged to reach out about anything at all.
I am now in the happiest and healthiest relationship of my life. I cannot thank Meghan enough for everything she has taught me.

Written on Oct 20, 2019 after therapy with Meghan for 3 months on issues concerning stress, anxiety, relationship issues, intimacy-related issues, self esteem, and adhd
I turned 50 the 1st of June. I had been on a self healing journey for the last couple of years after coming into a midlife "crisis" about 5 years ago. This was my 3rd stint with online counseling. I find the online forum extremely convenient for my busy lifestyle. I have also always been better able to express myself through written word than speech, so being able to text when I am going through a struggle has been very helpful. In the beginning of my therapy with Meghan, I was stuck in my recovery. I had just been through the devaluation and discard from the 2nd narcissistic partner in the last five years. He had me so worried about his "depression" that I didn't know where else to turn. What Meghan helped me to finally see is that I need to focus on myself. I had identified my codependency a couple years ago, but I was stuck in the recovery process. Meghan helped to keep my focus and was so encouraging as she recommended tools such as mindfulness and a codependency workbook. Meghan treated me with compassion and understanding as I told her of traumatic childhood events, and she helped me to realize that I can overcome all of this. I highly recommend Betterhelp online counseling and Meghan Griffin to anyone looking for the tools to practice self love and self care and self-directed healing. I am forever grateful.

Meghan seems to understand that it’s not her just telling me what to do, but we work together to achieve a goal that is both what I want and what she believes needs to happen to achieve the best outcome. She’s friendly and smart and has helped me think through a lot of hard stuff! I highly recommend her.

Meghan is really wonderful and supportive. She has made me feel very comfortable talking about my issues and helps me come up with realistic ways to get through them. It never feels like she is trying to come up with a magic solution to end all my suffering, but is trying to equip me with the tools I need to handle the new problems that will inevitably appear in life.

Meghan has been such an incredible counselor. She listens, offers a variety of solutions, & is always available, even outside of our “scheduled” time. She is very professional, always focused on me & what I have to say, and has been a guiding light during my transitional phase. I could not recommend her enough!
