Meghan McQuade, LMHC
About me
Fundamentally I believe that everyone is doing the best that they can, with the caveat we can all work towards a better self. This assumption drives me to pair compassionate nonjudgmental empathy with hope and meaningful wellness targets to assist with getting you to where you want to be. I focus on exploring internal and external motivators of intense emotion and ineffective behaviors while integrating a self-acceptance and better understanding of how our biological motivators/drives interact with life’s constant barrage of stress and develop conditioned response patterns.
Each individual entering the process of developing insight and confident self-management brings with them unique strengths and challenges based on life experiences and genetic/biological vulnerabilities. When selecting specific treatment strategies, I look to harness innate strengths, assess for opportunities to educate, encourage, and reinforce the change process. I tailor my approach to highlight and utilize personal expertise with your life to target specific barriers to wellness self-management pairing with practical strategies to establish self-control and direction.
Recognizing personal challenges and choosing to explore them is the first significant step towards self-awareness and confident stability. I am confident in our ability to successfully develop a strategy unique to you that effectively encourages and self-reinforces you to towards a confident wellness with improved competency and stability.
Please do not hesitate to reach out if you see opportunities for your own self-improvement with me. I am looking to partner with individuals who are willing and active collaborative participants in this process.

I’m so happy I found Meghan. I don’t meet with her often but when I do she has such a positive impact on my day and my mood. She is welcoming and I don’t feel judged. Very happy with her!

Meghan is awesome. She's very easy to talk to, remembers things from sessions from months ago, and has helped me make significant changes in several areas of my life and mental well being.

Fantastic sessions. Honed in on important issues, regardless of how long-winded I would get.
