About me
I believe helping people address the symptoms (anxiety, depression, substance use, relationship issues, psychosocial stressors) in a person-centered approach can help to develop the tools and coping skills needed to live a better life.
I start with building rapport to get to know you to figure out what is best and most meaningful for you in addressing inter/intrapersonal conflicts. I help you by identifying what is important and how we can get there together. I offer a safe, inclusive, and evidence-based (motivation interviewing, CBT, DBT, psychodynamic) style; so you can move forward.
I am licensed in New York with 13 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, & depression. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you.
Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.
