Melissa is an anomaly in the therapeutic community. She uses tools which is how I love to learn in any setting. She is incredibly attentive to the needs of her patients and is supportive during the process. Trauma is difficult for everyone in their own way and Melissa is Coach, conceiver, collaborator, and captain all in one.

Melissa is a wonderful therapist. She really listens, better than even my mom! She researches outside of sessions so she makes sure she understands things I talked about, and can offer her counsel. She also does a great job of gently suggesting how to reframe things and freely offers useful additional avenues of help, like seeing a psychiatrist for some potentially undiagnosed issues complicating my recovery. She's really helped me navigate my blind spots, and made herself available with great flexibility. I've really enjoyed meeting her and definitely recommend her!
