Hello, and welcome to Better Help! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Delaware and Pennsylvania. I have been a licensed Social Worker for over 13 years specializing in grief and loss, anxiety and depression, addictions counseling for families affected by addiction and most recently caregiver burnout and compassion fatigue. I have worked with clients of all ages including adolescents’, adults and older adults. I adapt my practice style to fit the needs of each client and will adjust my approach based on the goals and outcomes experienced throughout the therapeutic journey.
Asking for help is never easy but here you are, and you should be proud of yourself for taking this first step. I would like to assist you in this journey as you allow yourself to discover the strengths that you possess and the tools you can use to become a stronger healthier you!

I'm very pleased with the work I've been doing with Melissa. She's able to draw information and point out connections that I hadn't noticed before, which allows me to identify contributing factors that I hadn't considered.

Melissa is a great listener/conversationalist. She's more laid-back which I prefer as it feels more comfortable than a strict Q&A session. It's still early, but I feel comfortable with working on some goals with her.
