About me

I have been a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (LMHP) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for fourteen years. I had a career in higher education, but through my own personal struggles, I experienced how powerful the therapeutic process can be and wanted to help others experience the same. I received my counseling degree from a small public institution, Chadron State College, in the state of Nebraska in 2008. Since then, I have worked with adults, children, couples and families on a part-time basis while continuing my career in higher education.

My counseling theories focus on the person and our existential existence. The therapeutic process can be difficult at times, but the growth that occurs can be tremendous. I will provide a warm, compassionate, and authentic environment. My expertise includes the treatment of anxiety, depression, grief, and couple and familial relationship issues. Together, we will find ways to reduce stress and create a balanced life.
