Melissa is straight forward and points out when I’m off base. She also provides a point of view I may be missing, overlooking, or ignorant of. She’s encouraging when I’m making progress and gives direction to help make progress.

I came to Melissa during a difficult time in my life and she has surpassed every expectation I had of how this would go. She is intelligent and very quick to pick up on patterns and errors in thinking. Her broad worldview and experience working with people who are at rock bottom, homeless, psychotic, etc., gives her an appreciable perspective and ability to see the person underneath the mental illness. Her supportive and wise words over these last several months have been invaluable. Anyone would be lucky to have her.
