About me

Welcome to therapy. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Montana and practice from a lens of support and exploration. I believe in providing a safe and empowering environment where we can work together to help you uncover your existing strengths and build new therapeutic skills for increased ease in navigating life challenges. My approach is effective. In a short amount of time clients often report experiencing important positive internal shifts and external changes.

At the start of my career I specialized in trauma and have extensive experience in helping clients with stress/anxiety, depression, anger management, coping with grief as well as setting/reaching significant life goals. I work with my clients to create an open and nonjudgmental therapeutic experience where thoughts, feelings, and needs can be shared and solutions identified.

I am available for weekly video sessions. Research shows consistency in attendance, practicing what is learned in session during day to day life and having a supportive, caring therapeutic relationship are the most effective in terms of growth and healing. I am looking forward to meeting you. ---- Melissa

Melissa really listens and takes the time to hear what you are saying and figure out why you have the trauma you have so that you can start to work through it.

Melissa is a very professional and kind individual and professional. She listened and gave very insightful feedback and suggestions. I found her easy to open up too, warm and receptive. As someone who find opening up to be hard she made it easy for the first time.

Melissa is nothing short of amazing. She listens and offers a wide variety of help. I can’t say enough good things about her. She is genuinely caring. I feel safe in talking with her. She is genuine and you can truly see how she cares about you. She explains everything thoroughly. She asks if it’s ok to go over suggestions before she dives in. She cares about my feedback. I’ve had 2 sessions with her and I truly feel like I’m progressing. I’m looking forward to the future because of how she’s already helping me. She’s truly amazing. I would recommend her to anyone looking for help. She will not disappoint you.

I’ve only had a few sessions with Melissa and I already feel an immense amount of trust in her as a therapist, and gratitude for the work we’ve been able to do in a short time.
