Dr. Michal Jorgens, Psychologist
About me
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with 20+ years of experience in an outpatient clinical setting. I have worked with a wide range of individuals and problems. I really enjoy helping people find greater happiness and satisfaction in their lives. My approach tends to be informal. I have had training in many modalities, but I feel the most important part of therapy is the quality of our relationship. I believe everyone deserves to be treated with respect. When we are communicating, you are the most important person to me in that moment. I want to understand your problems from your perspective. I will bring my years of experience and training to our time to figure out together what will help overcome the obstacles you experience. I know seeking help and trusting a stranger with private things is hard. I respect that. I will try to earn that respect each time we connect.

My time working with Dr. Jorgens was wonderful. I felt able to open up and talk through things with her right away. We made some great progress in just a few sessions that had a great positive impact on my daily life. I hope to continue again when I have more funds. Until then I will take forward what we talked about in our sessions, and continue my personal growth and mental health journey, with great thanks given to Dr. Jorgens!
