About me
Hi my name is Michele and I would like to welcome you here.
We all have times where we need a little more support and help with our problems as I understand that life can sometimes feel hard. Sometimes talking to friends or family is not enough or can feel too difficult but the supportive counselling relationship can make a huge difference.
My therapy style is calm, gentle and warm and I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Together we work towards you feeling happier and in a more positive place.
People come to see me from all walks of life and with a range of worries and concerns. These could include stress and anxiety, self esteem or low confidence, low moods, family and relationship difficulties or loss. I also have particular experience in working with people that have been impacted by the trauma of sexual abuse.
Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life can feel a little daunting but I am here to support you in that process.

From my first few sessions with Michele I felt such a warm and welcome presence.
Always willing to listen, but also eager to help me reconsider some thought processes or feelings in such a soft and supportive way. Even thought I’ve only had a few sessions with Michele I have recognised a positive change in myself and my outlook on a lot of difficult topics.
Being of the LGBTQ+ community and also being a female i felt it was important to find a therapist who not only accommodates for this but also understands this in a complex and thoughtful way. She does.
