About me

Hi, my name is Michelle, I am a Person Centred Counsellor, a client- centered counsellor, a form of therapy that seeks to facilitate a client's self towards growth and fulfilment. with over 5 years of counselling experience.I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD and PTSD. I support clients with SEMH Social Emotional and Mental Health issues. Clients who have experienced these difficulties clients can present anxiety low mood, feelings of being withdrawn. physical trauma and/or emotional abuse. My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My counselling approach is humanistic , i focus on the promotion of health and wellbeing.

Michelle has a warm and personable approach which makes me feel at ease very quickly! She also understands me so well, which shows me that she is really listening. She comes across very genuine too which helps me build trust. She also challenges me to think differently in very thought-provoking ways. I have found it really difficult to open up to therapists before, but Michelle is the first therapist I’ve felt safe enough to be truly myself with. I think this is a testament to her skills as a therapist.
