About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of New Jersey. I am a resourceful and motivated Counselor skilled in building therapeutic rapport and developing an appropriate and effective skillset for each client. I have worked in various roles and settings in the mental health field providing services to different populations and cultures. I have worked with clients who struggle with Depression, Anxiety, relationships and LGBTQ+ issues, among many other issues people struggle with daily. I have the education and experience along with the compassion and patience needed to make clients feel comfortable and open-up while providing the highest quality of services and care that all clients deserve.

I strive to provide a warm and non-judgmental space for my clients as I ensure their thoughts and feelings are validated. I will ask questions to clarify what is being said so I fully understand the client and their needs. It is important to me that I collaborate with the client in their therapy journey as they know themselves best. Sometimes we don't know where to start and I will be there to help.

Seeking help is never easy as it can be daunting and can leave us feeling vulnerable and misunderstood. I am here to make this process less stressful and will answer any questions the client may have about the therapeutic process.

Michelle is a great listener. Provides suggested exercises to work out my thoughts. I can sometimes get into a spiral and helps me reconnect the dots to create a flow and connection with my thoughts. They have been a much needed support in my therapy goals.

Michelle is just fantastic; she really listens without judgement & makes you feel like she sees things from your point of view while also understanding the big picture. She offers helpful & reasonable steps for change and has been such a useful resource in my life. I would absolutely recommend her for therapy

Michelle is the first therapist I have ever met with and I do believe I got very lucky. When it comes to learning more about myself and the different exercises and practices to combat different issues Michelle truly offered so much insight. With great listening skills Michelle offered insights into things I had never thought about as well. Hopefully you can get the chance to work with Michelle as well.
