Michelle Jerard, LPC
About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I have been in practice since 2012 and have served many populations at every level of care. I have worked with the entire lifespan at the outpatient, in-home, in-patient and in groups over the last decade. I am passionate about working with individuals who have experienced traumatic life events, are going through life transitions, have anxiety, depression, family conflict and parenting conflicts.
I believe in mutual respect and providing the space for your healing process to occur. I use a cognitive behavioral approach embedded with trauma informed care. I tailor each treatment plan to each client and modify as we both see fit.
It takes courage to invest in yourself. I look forward to guiding you on your journey.

Michelle is great! I feel like I’m talking with a well educated friend rather than a professional that feels cold and distant. It feels safe to talk to her about any concerns or issues I need to face

Michelle is great. She has taken the time to get to know me and build a relationship that works.

Michelle has been great. She validates my feelings, helps me understand where my anxiety is coming from and has provided great tools for me to use and work with. She listens when I explain things that don't seem to be helping and helps me adjust. I am very grateful for her support.

Michelle has been amazing. I’ve worked with her over the last few months regarding generalized anxiety that has gotten worse from a break up as well as working in healthcare during a pandemic. This is my first time trying any sort of app or online therapy and I thought it would take away the face to face connection component, but it has actually been better than any in person therapy I’ve ever done. Michelle is extremely approachable and down to earth. She has an incredible way of acting like a great friend listening and joking with you about the dumpster fires of the world, but in a way that is guiding your thinking and actions to better ways. I could not recommend her enough.
