Mildred Harris, LCSW
About me
I believe that the therapeutic relationship can help you grow, heal, and cope with the challenges of life. You don’t have to put it off anymore. I help children, teens, adults, couples and families find relief from anxiety, stress and worry so they can find more peace and joy in their relationships and their lives. With counseling, each conversation is an opportunity to understand yourself better, develop relationships, laugh more often, feel optimistic about your life, plus incorporating solution-focused strategies that can make a difference everyday. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, psycho-dynamic and rational-emotive counseling. I attended NC A&T State University, University of Illinois and Clark-Atlanta University and I have been practicing for over 15 years.

Mildred Harris is fantastic. She is a great listener, and is sensitive and caring. She is insightful, and honest.

Mildred Harris is a very patient woman to put up with me these days. I have been very unreliable and missing appointments, but she just goes with the flow without being judgmental at all. I am looking forward to us getting to know each other better and getting to the root of my angst these days!
