I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, depression, lgbt-related issues, family conflicts, & parenting issues. I take a person- centered approach in which I believe that you know yourself best and have the ability to make positive changes. My role is to guide you on the way. I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral therapy and Dialectical Behavioral therapy to assist in challenging unhealthy thought patterns and to promote the regulation of emotions. Some people think the word "awesome" is used too much. Well, in this case I am saying that she is more than awesome. When we first started it wasn't too easy to open up. Now I look forward to our sessions and when the session is over, I always feel better about myself. I think if her more as a friend or as family than simply a therapist.
