Misty Weiser, LCSW
About me
I am an LCSW, licensed in Colorado, with 3 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, coping with grief and loss, & sleeping disorders. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.
I am a huge advocate of animal assisted therapy, and have two therapy dogs, Lily and Maggie, that I have been using in practice for almost 5 years.
I love learning about new modalities, and am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy(DBT) as well as Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). Polyvagal Theory is one of my favorite ways to explain trauma and memory.
I enjoy discussing therapies and approaches, and am always up for a good conversation!

She’s great, she understands my brain somehow which is cool. She’s an expert for sure, somehow knows what to say every time.

Misty was wonderful! She is very approachable and shared a lot of ideas and resources with me which were so helpful. She very quickly helped me identify the issue when I would tell her where I was struggling. Talking with her was so helpful.
