About me

Are you ready for your mind and thoughts to stop going and going and going?
Do you meditate, read self-help books, and talk to friends but still feel stuck?
Do you wonder why you are here and often think what is it that you are really supposed to be doing?
Do you feel like something's missing? If so, I'd like to help!

Hello, my name is Monica Williams and I am a NC Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Intuitive.

I approach counseling from a holistic and integrative perspective. In other words, you get the best of both worlds! I get the chance to use these modalities in my sessions to encourage healing and help you feel better.
I have over fifteen years of professional work experience in mental health. I enjoy working with Adult individuals, of varied populations. I have a soft spot for adult women who are spiritually minded, holistically open, and committed to their own journey of transition and transformation.

I am approachable, I am able to add humor into the process, I am empathetic, compassionate, and I can bring a spiritual and holistic view to the process. I am able to make our sessions engaging and fun so that your challenging situations become less overwhelming to approach in therapy. Afterall, counseling is a journey, and it is my intention to find a rainbow after rain, and empower your highest version of you!

Monica blows my mind every session with her ability to not only listen to the content of what i say but also always keep track of my patterns, rate of speech etc. She knows when to stop me from going off the rails and keep me focused. To top this all off she is able to do this so naturally and seemingly effortlessly, a wonderful person to connect with. I have yet to leave a session without feeling 1,000 percent better about my self and situation in general! Cannot recommend her enough even though i personally dont want her schedule filling up more! She deserves it!!!

Monica Williams is an incredible therapist. I am extremely fortunate to have been paired with her. I know some people have to try multiple therapists out before they find the right fit. I immediately felt the comfort and support of talking to a best friend. I have a hard time expressing myself (overthinking, am I right?) and she can read my body language to see changes and help guide me to find my voice. She is gentle and relatable. I feel she genuinely cares about me and my progress. 100/10

Monica is kind and compassionate. She takes the time to listen to what you have to say and provides useful feedback. She is down to earth and easy to talk to and get along with. She is supportive and understanding and willing to guide you through any troubles you’re or have had going through.
