About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with over 5 years of experience working with diverse populations that span from young to older adults. I understand and value that every person is unique with different life experiences. Because of that, I aim to provide empathetic and trauma-informed approaches that are specifically tailored to each individual. I believe in every person’s capacity for change and healing, especially when provided with the right tools, strategies, knowledge, and understanding.

My therapy style is warm, non-judgmental, at times humorous, and collaborative. I approach each session through a person-centered perspective, which means I strive to empower each client as the expert of their own lives. I utilize a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy.

Through collaborative efforts, I aim to provide relevant psychoeducation based on each client's needs and establishing individualized goals that foster growth and healing. Together, we would navigate through difficult experiences, work to bolster self-worth, cultivate mindfulness, and develop effective coping strategies for any presenting concern or symptoms. Additionally, we would begin to identify, understand, and change any unpleasant thoughts and emotions, and unhelpful behavior patterns that may be contributing to present distress.

Ultimately, my objective is to support and meet each person where they are at, without judgment, to help assist in creating sustainable, realistic changes and alleviate distressing symptoms which can allow for a more meaningful, authentic life. I hope that we can work together can create a sense of empowerment and healing to navigate personal and life challenges with resilience and authenticity to successfully reclaim control over your life.

It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!
