About me
Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master of arts in counseling. I received my master's from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2012. I reside in the DFW area of Texas.
I have experience with working with individuals, across the entire lifespan. I have experience with general mental illness to severe mental illness, to Intellectual and developmental disabilities. A host of my clients, have been individuals that deal with depression, anxiety, parenting skills, anger management and behavior modification concerns.
As a therapist, I believe in empathy. Unconditional positive regard, is high on my list of priorities, when interacting with clients of mine. I believe that we are all, more alike than different. I seek to rid stigmas and to do away with labels. We are greater, together! Easy dialogue, cognitive behavior therapy and talk therapy are typically my approaches. I seek to make therapy /counseling, easy peasy!
It is rarely easy to admit the we need help. The fact that you are even looking, is a huge step. Let's work through your issues, together, in an effort to restore normality, for you! I look forward to meeting you!
