Natalie Scott, LPC, LMHC
About me
Hey there. Congrats for making the first step in working towards healing. My name is Natalie Scott and I've been a therapist for about 13 years practicing in South Carolina and Washington State. My credentials are LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor - South Carolina), LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor - Washington), MAC (Masters Addiction Counselor - Nationally), AADC-CS (Advanced Addiction & Drug Counselor Clinical Supervisor- South Carolina), and SUDP (Substance Use Disorder Professional - Washington). My work has been in treating Substance Use Disorders, Anxiety, Depression, Marriage & Family, Stages of Life and Career Counseling. The therapy style I primarily use are cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing but I am experienced in many other styles. I have experience in individual, group, couples, and family therapy.
My counseling style is easy going and my goal when working with clients is to be client-centered and focused on assisting them in meeting their stated goals. Therapy success is dependent on my clients engagement in the process. My job is to support that process and aide in my client's healing and I do that by working to provide the necessary tools. I'd love to work with you if you feel we may be a fit.

Natalie Scott for as long as I've worked with her has been committed to getting me the help I need, she's a fantastic listener and though online therapy can be a little different and uncomfortable she does a fantastic job at creating a calming safe experience.

I have been with Natalie for approximately 4 months now, working through several old issues (from 40 + years ago), as well as current issues. She is a great listener and really takes the time to understand the root cause of my issues and to offer me a variety of solutions. I feel like she really understands my personality and how this will affect some of the choices I make.
I am very thankful that I have been able to work with Natalie. She has been an awesome counselor and I look forward to spending more time with her in order to resolve the other issues I am dealing with.
