Natalie Knight, LCSW
About me
Hello! My name Is Natalie Knight and I am an LCSW who is passionate about utilizing the strength of the therapeutic alliance as a support to enter into an exploration of what is beckoning for our attention at any given moment. I believe once we learn how to meet our emotions that we can clear ourselves of old past traumas or new anxieties and fears that are inhibiting us from being the best versions of ourselves that we are longing for. In a nutshell I work to help my clients identify and then let go of old habits and ways of being that no long serve them and help guide them in the allowing process of letting new ways of being that are more healthy in.
Together I begin to assist the client with untangling the knots of beliefs that have held them back from truly knowing the peace and contentment.
I have been doing this work for the past eight years professionally. I use a person-centered approach in my counseling practice which emphasizes that the client is the best authority for his/her own life and that the answers to his/her questions are inside of them.
I serve as a mirror to reflect to the client the inherent knowing.
I also rely strongly on EMDR as a modality to help client with the root of their traumas and held beliefs that cover the growth that they are desiring most.
This process has been quite effective for me in my search for understanding and I hope to be able to share it with others who feel called to this type of work with me as well.

Only two sessions in with Natalie but she's really been on the ball with every piece of advice that she's offered during our two sessions. Looking forward to my next session tomorrow!

So far Natalie has been receptive to what I’m going though, is a good listener, and has given me a lot to think about. We’ve had a few sessions so far and it is helping me.

Natalie Knight on our first session connected with me on a deeper level than I'd ever imagine. Natalie has a kind soul, great advice and I am excited to see where this is heading. I've had bad therapists and there's no way she is bad; Natalie is amazing.

I feel she cares. Is knowledgeable. Creates a relatable conversation. But from past experiences with previous therapists- I value her timely attendance to our sessions. That is extremely important!!

Natalie has been instrumental in getting to the root of why I'm feeling the way I am, and working through how to cope more effectively. Due to the nature of the situation I'm navigating, she recommended I move forward with couples counseling, and I'm unable to do both at the same time. I do plan to come back to Natalie to continue to resolve some of the underlying feelings I have, once I've made significant progress in a couples environment.
