About me

Welcome, and thank you for considering my services! I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker and Wellness Coach, dedicated team member, and advocate for your well-being. My approach integrates powerful Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) strategies, empowering clients to explore and embrace their true identity.

While my primary therapeutic approach is rooted in CBT, I also employ eclectic methods that combine evidence-based techniques to enhance thought patterns, mood regulation, and behavior management. I believe in a holistic understanding of wellness, focusing on improving and investing in your mental, physical, and spiritual health (Whole Self Wellness).

Clients are encouraged to stay engaged between sessions through messaging, audio, live chats, and video, allowing them to share updates on struggles, progress, homework, and assignments. For those interested, I specialize in offering a Faith-Based (Christian) approach to therapy.

I earned my Master’s of Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee Knoxville College of Social Work in 2004 and have been actively practicing therapy since then, serving diverse populations in various settings. My therapeutic style is characterized by empathy, compassion, coaching, accountability, and passion, with a commitment to meeting clients where they are at in their journey.

I am currently practicing and licensed in Florida and Tennessee. Thank you again for considering me as your therapist. I look forward to the opportunity to support you on your path to wellness and growth.

Nathan is wonderfully kind, attentive, reasonable and productive. He uses the time we have very wisely in that he'll listen, uncover the deep-seated reasons why something is troubling you and find intelligent ways to address and improve those issues. I highly recommend his support!

My favorite part about working with Nathan is that he gives me a lot of tools and work sheets in between scheduled sessions. The homework really helps me work and think through my issues and see light at the end of my dark tunnels. I am beyond grateful for his expertise.
