About me
Hello there, my name is Dr. Nichole Guadiano Nava. I am a Psychologist and Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I have my Doctor of Philosophy in General Psychology. I have two certifications, one in Violence Prevention and Intervention and the other in Criminal Justice. I have over 20 years experience in social services and education working with both children and families.
I spent 8 years as a supervisor for Child Protective Services specializing in child abuse, neglect, and sexual abuse. I worked in education as an elementary teacher and school counselor for 11 years. I spent several years in private practice specializing in marital conflict, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, panic disorder, grief, and addiction.
In today's society we are experiencing so much change, chaos, crises, and illnesses. It is absolutely common to feel fear, anxiety, confusion, and anger. It is also very common for these changes to cause challenges in communication with others.
My passion is to help provide you with guidance, encouragement, and the tools for empowerment to find your own sense of normalcy and lead you down the road of growth and change.
