Nicole Calvento, LMFT
About me
Welcome! I am an LMFT with an experience of 4 years, and I received my Master's degree in California State University, Northridge (2015). I have experience working with a diverse population, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use. My approach is very humanistic and strength-based, and I like to integrate mindfulness as I find these tools beneficial for the wellness of the human mind.
I believe in the importance of authenticity, and provide a safe space for individuals to be their genuine selves. I am compassionate, non-judgmental, believes in the importance of humor, and a cheerleader of my client's life journey. I utilize approaches including cognitive behavioral, solution focused, humanistic, and psychodynamic therapies, but am overall eclectic and mold my sessions based on what would best benefit my clients.
I look forward to working with you and guiding you through making positive changes in your life!

Nicole is a phenomenal therapist, I cannot rave about her more. I've been working with her for quite a while now and she's incredibly accommodating and willing to work with me as I've grown. Nicole gives real advice with practical next steps and has taught me ways to adapt to all of the changes and challenges life brings. I am so grateful I found her and she is really one of the best!

Nicole is very attentive, I feel as though she has listened to my needs and has been very respectful of where I'm at personally. I find her very approachable and easy to talk with and she has went above and beyond to help me within the live sessions as well as in between them. During our session she is very patient and knows when to listen, when to jump in and how to help. Very happy I was matched with her as my therapist :)
