About me

My name is Nicole and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. I hold a Masters of Education (M. Ed) in Counseling, and I have been practicing for about a decade now as an LPC for the state of Pennsylvania. My main focus is applying CBT (Cognitive behavioral) therapy to help challenge any irrational thinking and implement more positive thinking strategies in one's life, along with applying self-care into one's life. I also have experience working within corrections (incarcerations) and have worked with individuals who are struggling with acclimating back into society after this. I have also worked with clients that have Drug & Alcohol backgrounds. I have experience with couples and relationships and enjoy working with family systems theory. I also have an extreme interest in neuroscience and the brain, and always love learning new material and attending trainings on the brain.

My other clinical modalities that I enjoy practicing are as followed; Solution Focused Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, trauma-informed care, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, TANT (trauma- art narrative therapy), couples/family therapy, and Grief counseling. I have also taught as a professor of Psychology and enjoy educating students and clients on the constant changing discipline of Psychology/Mental Health. My goal with clients is to help set future goals, apply positive thinking strategies, implement coping skills, implement self-care/self-love, and guide clients to be the best version of themselves.

In my sessions, I do believe it is important to understand all aspects of life; physically, spiritually, emotionally , and mentally. Your mental health is wealth!

I’ve only had a few sessions with Nichole. And I truly am so satisfied! She’s been a great ear to simply just listen to me. But as well as giving me tools, and reassuring me to not take my thoughts so literally! I’m extremely happy with her as a therapist!
