About me
Hello and welcome! My name is Nicole and I am a licensed professional counselor in New Jersey. I have worked in a variety of settings including partial care, inpatient, outpatient, non-profit agencies and schools. I share this with you to show that I have had experience working with a broad range and severity of clinical issues. I have experience working with clients with a ride range of concerns including but not limited to anxiety, depression, relationship and/or family conflicts, life transitions, every day life issues, coping skills, mood regulation, OCD, ADHD, Autism/Aspergers and intellectual/developmental disabilities. I also have experience with both children and adults who have experienced physical and emotional trauma and/or abuse.
My counseling style is warm, empathetic and supportive. I will meet you where you are and we will discuss your concerns, develop priorities, and work together to accomplish your goals. I lead with a more holistic approach, incorporating the connection between mind, body, emotional and social factors. I also use various techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, existential therapy, solutions focused therapy, person-centered therapy, psychoeducation, and art and play therapy, among other modalities. Individuals need to be in an environment where they feel safe, accepted, and not judged and this is what I provide.

Honestly, if you are trying to find the right therapist, Nicole should be your choice. She is a great listener and very understanding. The good thing about Nicole is that she does not let you sink in, she definitely gives you suggestions in how to see and respond to the different events that happens in your life.
