Nicole Weiss, LPCC
About me
I am a mental health and substance use counselor with over 5 years of working as a crisis and psychotherapy counselor. Most of my experience has involved individuals with severe depression, suicidal ideation, and substance use issues. I also have experience with trauma, anxiety, and eating disorders.
My counseling style is person-centered and motivational. I believe that those seeking help should be able to determine what is most important to them and that my job is to support, motivate, and guide individuals to achieve those goals. Ultimately, I want individuals to find their own motivation and support from within so they are capable of continuing success outside of counseling. You are entitled to your own individual journey and everyone needs to experience things their own way. We are going to get through this together, however that may look like. I am here to provide a safe place for you to talk about what you are going through, offer direction, and help you accomplish whatever you decide is most important to you. My approach is primarily cognitive-behavioral, incorporating humanistic, substance use, and interpersonal approaches. However, I do not believe in a "one size fits all" approach, so therapy sessions will be tailored to individual needs.
Reaching out for help is a huge step that takes so much courage and strength. The fact that you are searching for someone to talk to is just the beginning of your journey. I hope you find what you are looking for, and I hope to provide a safe and supportive space for you.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Nicole Weiss. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
I have only just started working with Nicole and this is my first time doing online counseling. So far it is taking some getting used to but Nicole has been very responsive and always has suggestions to help. We are still new to each other so I don't have a lot to review but so far I am very happy with her as my counselor.
