About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland, dedicated to fostering diversity, inclusion, and equity for underrepresented and marginalized communities. My approach to therapy integrates various interventions to help clients reorganize their approach to challenges, identify and stabilize their emotions, and develop concrete skills for managing stress and resolving conflict.

As a multi-disciplinary professional, I serve clients in private practice, outpatient mental health clinics, and correctional facilities. I have extensive experience working with adolescents, couples, families, and groups, tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each individual. I firmly believe that the foundation of effective therapy is a strong therapeutic alliance, and I strive to create a safe, supportive, and inviting space where clients can heal, learn, and grow.

I proudly stand as a member of the LGBTQ+ community and advocate for everyone’s right to live authentically, love freely, and be or become their R.E.A.L. selves. To ensure the highest quality of care, I engage in ongoing collaboration and consultation to remain at the forefront of best practices in the field.

My professional credentials include:

Board-Certified Counselor
Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling – Northwestern University
Master of Business Administration (MBA) – University of Maryland
Bachelor of Arts in Sociology & Criminal Justice – North Carolina Wesleyan University
Over 15 years of experience in project management and business operations

I am also a proud graduate of Prince George’s County Public Schools in Maryland and an active member of the Maryland Counseling Association and the American Counseling Association.

Beyond my professional life, I am happily married to my wife and the proud parent of two sons, ages 27 and 11. My passion for advocacy, education, and mental health continues to drive my work in supporting individuals and communities in reaching their fullest potential.
