Nina Durtnall, NCPS
About me
Hi, I'm Nina a qualified and experienced Integrated counsellor with 8 years of professional work experience with teenagers and adults. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, depression, motivation, self esteem, and confidence. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
I have learnt the importance of recognising the power of our emotions and feelings, and that we should own them and value them rather than hide and push them away. by using these signals as messages to move positively forward in our lives we can reach our full potential and become the person we intend to be. Having worked for many years as a beauty and complimentary therapist, with a wide range of clients, I came to realise that true health and wellbeing and feeling good about ourselves lies within. If we can create strong emotional foundations, we have a good base to build our life's to help us move forward.
Taking that first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process and look forward to working with you to reach your goals.

I really enjoy talking with Nina so far, she has been quite helpful and provided very helpful and actionable ways to combat anxiety. She is just a wonderful person to talk to like chatting with a friend but with expertise. It's amazing that I got matched up with her.

My match with Nina was truly spot on.
She is exactly what I needed, informal, yet direct.

Nina is a great listener and gives advice that is applicable and thoughtful. She expertly creates a space where one can open up without judgment, and also tries not only to understand but to make one think about their feelings, thoughts and decisions - and helps to guide through as well as process them.
I don't think I could've gotten a better match.
