About me

I am a fully licensed social worker in the state of Michigan with 13 years of experience. I earned by MSW degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan and have worked with adults, families, and parents with a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, stress, mood disorders, ADHD, parenting, behavioral issues, trauma, abuse, spiritual issues, relationship boundary issues, loneliness, life transitions and family issues. My approach is empathetic, non-judgmental, person-centered, solution-focused, and progress-driven. I also believe in a holistic approach of treating the body, mind and soul, and helping you find a balance to your life. Everyone will face challenges in life, it's a given. However, through counseling you can learn effective coping strategies, manage symptoms, live life to the fullest and become the best version of yourself.
