About me
Hello there! My name is Nkechinyere Violet Anyaso, but you can just call me Violet. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor located in the state of Texas. I have 3 years of experience working with client (age 2-60) with a wide range of concerns such as depression, anxiety, stress related issues, peer and parent- child relationship, autism, and self-esteem issues. While understanding therapy could seem a little intimating at times, my goal is to create a safe space where my clients can truly feel comfortable in expressing themselves authentically without any fear of judgment during the therapeutic process.
My therapeutic approach is warm and welcoming. I firmly believe in treating everyone with compassion, empathy, sensitivity and most importantly with respect. I utilize an integrative approach to therapy by using various techniques such as: CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), psychodynamic therapy, person-centered therapy, solution focused and motivational interviewing depending on each individual client’s needs.
As I previously mentioned, therapy could seem a little intimidating and challenging at times, however being a witness to transformations from my previous clients, therapy can be a very rewards experience. I will be honored to embark in this journey with you to teach skills that will assist you navigating life’s challenges. I am here to support and encourage you ever step of the way and aid you in reaching your full potential.
