Noelle Penshorn, LMFT
About me
I am proud to call Wisconsin as my home and have lived my whole life here. I am also licensed in Washington and Colorado and happy to provide therapy to clients in those states as well. I graduated with my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at Edgewood College and learned about a systems approach to therapy. Prior to receiving my Master’s degree, I earned my Undergraduate degree in Fine Art.
I enjoy creating art and find that it can aid in the healing process and may be helpful when expressing difficult emotions. I take a strength based approach to therapy and guide you to find solutions to your problems. As I guide you in the therapeutic process, you may gain clarity about what you are feeling and needing in your life.
I believe that relationships are the center of our lives and when we are accepting and compassionate to ourselves we can bring our best to our relationships. I work with individuals, couples, and families, who may be struggling through anxiety, depression, grief and PTSD. As your therapist, I aim to provide you a safe and caring environment, where you feel comfortable to discuss what is happening in your life. Together we will explore ways to heal emotional pain, recognize unhealthy patterns and resolve personal problems.
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, hiking, photography and art. You will find me visiting a local lake or beach during the summer. I also enjoy spending time with my family. I have two lovable rabbits that also keep me occupied.

Noelle was really understanding and patient. She taught me how to have a different perspective on the things I struggled with, and provided tools that would help me change my thought process in a positive way. She ensured to provide a safe space where I felt completely comfortable and I knew I would not be judged. At the end of each session, she would make sure that we covered what we needed to and asked if there was anything else I wanted to discuss before ending the call. I always looked forward to our sessions and enjoyed talking with her. She was great!
