Patricia Lundy, LCSW
About me
Hello, I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of professional experience in New York. As a bilingual social worker I have helped patients deal with issues facing both English and Spanish speaking women. With a Master of Social Work from Adelphi University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Barnard College/Columbia University, I am dedicated to working with women to help them overcome their problems at all stages of life. I have many years of experience both in and outside of the hospital setting working with people facing issues such as but not limited to: pregnancy and neonatal loss, postpartum depression and anxiety, marital/relationship difficulties, domestic violence, aging/menopause, illness/new diagnoses, geriatric depression, and bereavement or impending loss of a loved one.
My philosophy is that one cannot only survive, but also thrive while overcoming difficult situations. I am passionate about helping women navigate all of life's challenges and transitions, and I am ready to help you deal with any hardships you are facing!
I believe that you possess many strengths that will assist us in tackling the challenges you are facing. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy takes courage and I am looking forward to working with you to meet your goals!
