About me

My goal as your therapist is to "help you through"; the challenges that you are currently facing. My clients see me as a compassionate listener with a huge tool box of ways to counteract these challenges. These clients present with issues such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse issues and relationship problems.
I graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a minor in Psychology; Boston University School of Theology with a major in Pastoral Counseling; and with an MSSW from the Universoty of Louisville majoring in Mental Health. I have also studied at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland and the Family Institute of Cincinnati.
I use evidence based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I use mindfulness techniques, Emotional Freedom Technique and IRest Yoga Nidra.
I see myself as a holistic practioner who listens to each client to understand their personal goals and how my skills might best help them.
