My name is Peggy Wilson, I have a Masters degree in Human Science with an emphasis on workplace behavior. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 15 years experience. My background in the business world in leadership positions in the profit and non profit setting, along with my mental health training and experience,
equips me to make a valuable contribution to clients dealing with anxiety, depression, lack of coping skills, feelings of uncertainty, emptiness, lack, difficulty adjusting to life changes and transitions. Much of our lives are centered around our work or lack of work across our lifespan; it is important to become enlightened to the drivers of our own behavior and how it impacts business and personal relationships. Very often clients discover barriers, childhood traumas, self-sabotaging and self-esteem roadblocks that impact every area of their life and create needless struggle and pain.
My approach to helping my clients is to act as a guide and raise their level of awareness to resolve or dissolve problems that could otherwise create a lifetime of suffering.
I am living, breathing proof that good counseling has the potential to bring peace of mind and feelings of well-being. I work with my clients to set goals and landmarks and encourage them to keep going. Counseling is a process, it can make the biggest difference in your life.

She has been wonderful and mostly listens. This is my first time with a therapist but I’ve had life coaches before. I’m use to doing reflective homework after a session or having solid takeaways and this feels a bit different. We are just starting our first few sessions, so maybe it’s still the “get to know you stage” of things. I would recommend her up to this point.

Peggy is a wonderful therapist. She fully supports me and gives me the confidence I need to enforce boundaries in all aspects of life. She challenges my negative thought processes and reframes things in a more constructive manner, but never makes me feel as though she’s talking down to me or belittling the emotions I experience. I absolutely would recommend Peggy to anyone seeking help.

Peggy Wilson is a great coach. She’s always looking for strategies to help me cope within a difficult situation that does not involve leaving every situation that causes my discomfort. I feel that that aspect is extremely important. We can’t all just run away from things that cause our discomfort situation will always present themselves and without abilities to thrive in spite of those circumstances we will not be able to exist in a world full of those circumstances. It has taken a long time to find a counselor who is willing to meet me where I’m at and help me work through the dynamics of my own circumstances rather than simply leaving over and over again and never learning how to change myself to become someone better able to handle those dynamics! This has been a game changer for me!

Written on Oct 25, 2021 after therapy with Peggy for 3 months on issues concerning family conflicts
I started therapy after my mothers death in may of this year. I was anxious about therapy but I knew it was what I needed.
I’m so thankful I got matched with Peggy! She has been so supportive, kind, and gives wonderful advice and tricks for staying present and mindful in the moment. She really has helped me through a lot of my fear and anxiety about my career, relationships and life in general. , she has encouraged me to start loving myself, which has been incredibly difficult for me. But everyday is a little easier, a little brighter, and I’m enjoying my life a little more each day.
Of course the struggles of daily life are still here, but that’s just life, I’m learning to focus on the good, accept the bad, ignore the ugly, and bask in the beauty and glory of this crazy life. Miss Peggy has been incredibly instrumental throughout my healing process!
I look forward to our conversations as often as I can schedule them.
Much love and peace! ✌

Peggy Wilson is amazing at what she does. She understanding and supportive and helps me to look at things from a different perspective. She helps me by not telling me what to do but by suggestions she makes. That is the best part. Most therapist I have had tell me what to do instead of give me suggestions of things I can try to help the situation. She is all around an amazing person and counselor.
