I'm Percival Fisher, Jr., but you can simply call me "Percy." With 13 years of experience, I've been dedicated to providing both individual and group psychotherapy. My goal is to assist you in achieving your therapy objectives by creating a safe, warm, and interactive space to explore your presenting issues.
I bring expertise in addressing a range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, anger, trauma, "coming out"/LGBTQIA-related issues, and family conflicts. To tailor the therapeutic experience to your unique needs, I employ a diverse set of treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Harm Reduction, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Crisis Intervention, and Relational Therapeutic techniques.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Florida, North Carolina, California, Oregon, Arizona, Washington (LICSW), and West Virginia (LICSW), I am also a Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work (BCD) by the American Board of Examiners in Clinical Social Work. Additionally, I hold certifications as a Certified Complex Trauma Professional (CCTP-II) from the International Association of Trauma Professionals and a Certified Case Manager (CCM) from the Commission for Case Management Certification.
Beyond psychotherapy, my background spans behavioral health research, HIV/AIDS education and counseling, teaching, medical social work, and leadership.
During my leisure time, I indulge in watching Marvel series on Netflix, psychological thrillers, reading, traveling, engaging in conversations about current events related to mental health, and staying active through workouts.
I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to work with you and support your journey. Take care!

Percy is incredible. From the first message I sent, I could sense that he cared, and his responses were thoughtful and genuine. He has continued to ask me relevant questions, make me think about perspectives I genuinely wouldn't have thought of before, and gently push me to practice more self-care. He has addressed my general anxiety, depression, and phobias, which I had no idea could be addressed all at once, let alone in online therapy. He makes this process less scary than it typically would be, and I cannot thank him enough for that. I would recommend Percy to anyone and everyone!

Throughout my life, I have hated therapists. With help from my SO, I decided to give it a chance. I'm so happy I did, and Percy was an amazing help! He talks to me as a human being and made me look at things a different way than has helped me through some really hard times.

Very personable and patient. I also appreciate that there is no pressure here and the online experience is vastly more helpful to me than making in person appointments that would probably be very over priced and not helpful at all with the additional stress of finding the time and funds to continue therapy consistently.

Percy is a great balance of challenging and nurturing. He is responsive and creative in his approaches. After having several therapists that I did not find helpful and almost giving up on therapy completely, I am very optimistic about the counseling I am recieving from Percy currently. I would highly recommend him.
