Perry Malzahn, LSCSW
About me
I have been practicing as an LSCSW (Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker) in the state of Kansas for 11 years. I have assisted clients in the settings of adoption and foster care, medical and psychiatric hospitals, as well as acute and long-term therapy at a faith-based organization. Currently, I counsel military members and their families. I practice through a lens of trauma informed care while incorporating different therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Family Systems Therapy (FST), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) when applicable. I will meet you where you are at on the spectrum of care, whether it is setting a small personal goal or tackling trauma with the utmost respect and confidentiality. I understand that the road to healing began well before reading this profile and I am here to assist you along your journey.
