About me
Dr. McCusker is a licensed psychologist, member of the American Psychological Association, and member of the National Register of Health Service Psychologists. He has taught multiple psychology courses and has practiced within clinical psychology and within the psychology of physical medicine and rehabilitation for forty-five years. During that time, he has treated patients in private settings, hospitals, and outpatient clinics. Dr. McCusker is a husband, father, grandfather, former marathon runner, and former U. S. Marine. Among other works, Dr. McCusker has authored Conversation: Striving, Surviving, and Thriving, Don't Rest in Peace: Activity-Oriented, Integrated Physical and Mental Health, and Questioning & Answering: How, Who, When, & Where.

Any client needing such treatment must seek it elsewhere with a fully licensed and trained clinician. He can help persons with diagnosed mental illness make healthful lifestyle changes, but only for as long as they continue being seen by a mental health clinician who is providing their treatment.
