About me

I am licensed in Texas with 20 years of professional work experience as a psychotherapist. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, LGBTQIA-related issues, parenting issues, & depression. I also have many years experience helping clients address process addictions such as porn and/or sexual compulsive behaviors and experience in helping clients recover from religious and/or church trauma. My approach is client centered. This means I allow time for clients to state their concerns and needs, rather than following a rigid predetermined modality or method. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I work to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared confidentially and without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.

Phil created the space for me to speak freely while assisting me in navigating my thoughts and emotions. He listens and speaks to shine light on situations and processes that will assist you with your primary reason for seeking help. Tells it like it is.
