About me
My name is Qiying Zhou, most people call me Jill. I am a licensed clinical social worker and bilingual and bicultural in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Shanghainese).
I have provided individual/couple counseling over 25 years in health care in NJ community helping individual who battles with anxiety, depression, substance abuse life changes from illness to death or relationship issues. We all experience anxiety or depressed mood in some degree, at certain point of our lives. The pandemic has hit us all extremely hard. Having a trusting and therapeutic relationship with someone knows where you come from and uses your familiar language, who's non-judgmental with patient ears is a starting point working towards to iron out the wrinkles of any issue and discover your inner strength for ultimate solution to achieve happiness and content.
My approach is client-centered, interactive,,cognitive behavioral therapy, emotional focused therapy, mindfulness and solution-focused therapy.
I am blessed by my unique bicultural and bilingual background that has been enabling me to serve those underserved due to cultural or/and language barriers.
