Quachetta Jones, LICSW
About me
Hello there! My name is Quachetta Jones, MSW, LICSW and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with a BSW from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a MSW from the University of Alabama. I have over 10 years of experience providing therapy to teens, adults, couples and families. I began my career working with couples/ families in the areas of family preservation services in Georgia. I went on to gain experience with inpatient and outpatient forensic mental health to include depression, trauma, anxiety, grief and loss, anger management, and addictions/substance abuse counseling.
Many of us struggle with self worth, coping with crisis, interpersonal conflicts, or problematic behaviors and can benefit from a caring therapist who understands, helps identify solutions, and who does not judge. I am committed to treating each client with dignity, respect, empathy, and without judgement.
It takes courage to seek a more satisfying and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am a firm believer in the importance of the therapeutic relationship and if you are ready to begin, I am here to support and empower you. We will discuss and explore new healthy coping skills and put new "tools in your toolbox".
I look forward to working with you!
