About me

What I enjoy most about being a therapist is that each session is a collaborative effort in which both the client and therapist leaves the session with a learning experience that contributes to discovery and growth. I believe that all experiences (good, bad, ugly) are for the purpose of learning and letting go and that therapy is one of the best ways to explore what needs to be learned and let go so a sense of worth and purpose can be fully realized and experienced.

I am a licensed professional counselor working in the state of Texas for over 7 years. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, bipolar, trauma, psychosis, addiction, low self worth, and shame issues that have impacted their ability to thrive in relationships and life.

My therapy style is compassionate, caring, and person-centered. I seek to create an environment of mutual respect and trust, connectivity, collaboration, courage, creativity, and confidence in self. My approach is grounded in cognitive behavioral approaches that include internal family systems and dialectical behavioral therapy.

If you are ready to let go of the burden and chaos that has kept you feeling stuck, unable to find yourself staying in the present moment, and lacking in joy then I would be grateful for the opportunity to guide you in healing. Give yourself the gift of knowing you are safe, protected, blessed, and loved.

I look forward to working with you!

She’s a five-star therapist that’s knowledgeable about a variety of topics of mental health and personal growth. She’s always been here for me, giving advice and guidance in a timely manner, and non-judgmental attitude. I have learned a lot from her and would recommend to anyone who wants to start their healing journey and personal growth!

Quynh is honestly the best therapist I’ve experienced. She listens and provides feedback from what she’s hearing and offers physiological application to what may be going on in my thinking with people or situations occurring around me that I’m needing supper to better understand. She really strives to speak on topics that help me see the perspective from outside myself. It’s very helpful!

Quynh has heard me without having to explain myself if that makes sense. We were able to cut right through any "clutter" to identify, and work on the issues I'm dealing with.

I’ve never connected with a therapist more. She really got me on the path I’ve always needed to go on.

I don’t even know where to begin. Quynh is phenomenal. There wasn’t a session that went by that I didn’t make leaps of progress. She worked with me on weeks where I just needed to talk and take it easy, but she was also there to guide me through the tougher exercises. I am taking a break from betterhelp for now, but I hope I rematch with her when I come back!
