Rachel DiPippo, LMHC
About me
Hello, My name is Rachel DiPippo and I graduated with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have worked with individuals, couples, and families for 15 plus years in a variety of settings. Presenting concerns have included, but not limited to, a history of trauma, substance abuse, negative self talk, low self esteem, depression, anxiety, marriage relationship problems, interpersonal relationship problems, anger, eating disorders, coping with life changes, parenting issues and stressors, ADHD, and a myriad of other struggles. Clinical approach will depend on the needs of the client and goals are made as a collaborative effort. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Therapy, Client Centered therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavioral techniques.
I see my role as a therapist to come alongside clients in their journey of healing, encouraging and motivating them to open themselves to explore the drivers to unwanted behavior, thoughts, and emotions, and discovering what they can do to create the desired change. My goal is to create a safe space for a client to share what may be holding them back from living in freedom emotionally. In a supportive and compassionate way, I want to help people also obtain the tools they need in order to get where they want to be. I look forward to the privilege of walking that journey with you.
